Dark branching shapes cross a field of gray, cream and red, while slender lines trace routes through and around them. In this Planet Life painting, Bell brings an almost architectural precision to forms that remain organic and open-ended. The layered arrangement keeps the eye moving between foreground and background. A patch of green adds a small but vital interruption, giving the work the feeling of a constructed landscape with something living inside it.
