Station Platform Shinjuku 2

Here, the station becomes a meeting of different speeds. A dark-clad figure anchors the left side, another presence gathers near the center, and passing bodies blur through the foreground. Hard edges, reflections and traces of movement occupy the same space without settling into a single rhythm. Seen beside Station Platform Shinjuku 1, this photograph offers another way to read the platform: as a place where countless separate stories briefly overlap.
