Private events
Make room for your occasion.
A birthday, an anniversary or a reason to bring your friends together: the occasion tells us what matters. The next question is how you want to spend the time. Conversation over drinks, dinner at the table and an evening with music each ask something different of the room. We help connect the space, food and schedule around your people.
Holiday & group celebrations
A shared occasion brings people together who may rarely have time in the same room. Drinks at the bar, lounge seating and food served while guests mingle can make conversation central to the evening. A meal or entertainment adds another layer to the layout and schedule.
The space
A room of your own, or the whole gallery.
Second Street Gallery and Zappa Room each have a bar, with a sliding wall between the rooms. Book one room or bring them together for a full-venue event. Your guest count and plans for food, seating and music guide the choice. Rental options depend on the date and event requirements; we confirm the areas your event will use in the proposal.

The long brass bar, art walls and lounge seating give guests places to settle in and talk. A standing reception can keep the gathering open; a seated format creates a different focus. We work through the furniture and service space needed for your plans.

Zappa Room
A stage and its own bar make the Zappa Room a useful setting for a toast, a program or music alongside the gathering. We consider where guests will sit or stand, how service moves through the room and what the sound and lighting need to do.

Catering & bar
Good company. Food worth sharing.
Food and drinks shape the way people gather. We connect your preferences, dietary needs and alcohol-free options with the menu, bar service and schedule. Tell us what matters to your guests and whether you already have a caterer in mind. Those choices help us plan the space and the service together.

Food that fits the gathering
Passed appetizers and food stations can support a reception where guests move between conversations. A seated meal calls for places at the table and a different service schedule. We work through the format, dietary needs and preparation requirements with the people providing the food.
A bar plan for your guests
Think about what your guests enjoy drinking, including alcohol-free options, and when people are likely to arrive or gather at the bar. We coordinate bar service with the menu and event schedule, then set out the agreed arrangements and costs in your proposal.
Planning & support
Your celebration. A plan behind it.
Minna Events can plan and produce your celebration or take on specific parts alongside your planner and vendors. We bring the layout, hospitality, music and schedule into one conversation, then agree who is handling what. Your proposal defines the space, services, responsibilities and costs, so you can make decisions with a clear picture of the event.
See how Minna Events worksWork through the moments that matter
A speech needs the room’s attention. Music needs an appropriate setup. Moving from dinner to a reception may mean rearranging furniture and allowing time for the change. We work through those connections while there is time to make choices, then put the agreed sequence into the event schedule.
- Toasts, music and any program
- Food and bar service timing
- Setup, room changes and vendor access
Make setup part of the plan
Your caterer, musicians and other vendors need to know when they can arrive, where their work happens and what needs to be ready for them. We coordinate the access, setup and staffing responsibilities we take on, including time to clear the event afterward.
Good to know
A few practical questions.
Start with your date, approximate guest count and the way you want people to gather. We can work through the details together. The gallery is a 21+ venue, with no exceptions; the entire guest list needs to meet that requirement.
Directions & parking Explore the venueShare your guest count and whether the gathering will be seated, standing or both. We’ll assess the layout and rental options with you. The proposal confirms which areas your event will use.
Start an inquiry with your preferred date, approximate guest count and event hours. We’ll discuss availability and the space and services you need, then set out the arrangements and costs in your proposal.
Yes. Tell us who is already involved and what they’ll handle. We’ll work through venue requirements, catering and bar arrangements, setup and responsibilities as part of the plan.
Share those plans early so sound, lighting, equipment, staffing and preparation time can be included in the agreed arrangements.
All guests must be 21 or older, with no exceptions. The gallery has wheelchair access. Tell us about any specific access needs when planning your event.
Start with the floor plan and virtual tour, then request a site visit in your inquiry to discuss the rooms and your plans together.
