Wedding receptions
A gallery for your kind of celebration.
Contemporary art, high ceilings, hardwood floors and two adjoining rooms give the gallery its character. What happens in those rooms is shaped around your people. A seated meal, a standing reception and an evening with dancing need different layouts and timing. We help work through those choices, whether you’re starting with an idea or already have a planner and vendors.

A change of pace
If dinner leads into music and dancing, we work through the space and any changeover that involves. Second Street Gallery and Zappa Room can be used separately or together, subject to your date and requirements. Your proposal confirms the rooms and arrangements for your celebration.

Catering & bar
Food, drinks and time together.
Tell us what you love to eat and how you want to share it. Passed bites, food stations and a seated meal each give the reception a different rhythm. We connect the menu, bar service and timing with the rest of the evening, including dietary needs and alcohol-free options. Your preferred caterer can be part of that conversation.

The food and the format belong together
The menu needs to work for your guests and the way it will be served. A reception with passed food has different seating and service needs from dinner at the table. We work through those decisions with the caterer, including dietary requirements and the time available for each part of the meal.
The evening
From the first toast to the final song.
The evening should make sense as a whole, with time for people to settle in, eat, listen and celebrate. We work back from the moments you care about to agree on the sequence, then connect the room layout, hospitality, sound and lighting. The schedule gives your team and vendors a shared plan.
Arrive and settle in
The beginning sets the pace. We work through where guests arrive, where drinks and food are served and how people find their way into the gathering. If your reception follows another part of the day, that arrival time becomes an important starting point for the schedule.
Give the important words their moment
A toast needs more than a microphone. Guests need to know where to look, the speaker needs to be heard and service needs to fit around the moment. We coordinate those needs with the people handling sound, food and the event schedule.
Plan the move into music
A DJ or live performance has equipment, access and preparation needs. We work through the sound and lighting, the space for music and dancing, and any furniture changes before the event. Those arrangements become part of the agreed layout and production plan.
Your team
People behind the plan.
Minna Events grew from decades of producing events at 111 Minna Gallery. We can plan and produce your reception, or take responsibility for selected parts alongside your planner and vendors. The starting point is what you need and who is already involved. We agree on the work, how it connects and what it will cost.
See our events processHelp with the whole reception
We turn your priorities into a plan, assemble the people and resources needed for the work we take on, and manage that work through setup, the event and wrap-up. You get clear recommendations for the decisions that need your attention, with responsibilities and costs set out in the proposal.
Work alongside the people you’ve chosen
Already have a wedding planner, caterer, photographer or music booked? Tell us what is covered and where you need support. We connect the responsibilities we take on with the people already involved, including venue arrangements, technical production, hospitality or staffing as agreed for your reception.
