Robert Bowen is a visual artist based in San Francisco, CA. He got his start in the graffiti and street art scene before shifting to focus on fine art. Bowen has exhibited his work throughout the U.S. and abroad for over twenty years. Coming off the heels of a retrospective with 111 Minna Gallery entitled ‘Walking, Talking, Stalking’ – which chronicled his work from the ‘90s to 2018 – Bay Area native and prolific artist Guy Colwell is back with a brand new series of paintings. Colwell’s ‘Simple Pleasures Primal Terrors‘ highlights society’s twisted inner workings and the human form throughout the Anthropocene in his signature surreal style. Similarly, SF-based David Ball unveils his third show with 111 Minna entitled, ‘Fanfaronade,’ a new collection of otherworldly abstractions created in isolation during the pandemic utilizing collage, decollage, acrylic paint, and colored pencil.
