Cambridge x London Life Sciences Showcase

Two cities. One nexus. No equal.

We are delighted to announce the second edition of the Cambridge × London Life Sciences Showcase, taking place on 13 January 2027 at Minna Gallery in San Francisco, during J.P. Morgan Healthcare Week.

Building on the success of the inaugural Showcase earlier this year, the event will provide a unique platform to spotlight some of Cambridge and London’s most innovative and pioneering life sciences, biotech and techbio companies. It will tell the shared story of the two cities’ buzzing ecosystems, celebrating the innovation, people and companies shaping the future of UK life sciences on an international stage.

Supported by prominent organisations across the Cambridge and London ecosystems, including Cancer Research Horizons, o2h co-discovery, Mishcon de Reya, Wellcome Genome Campus and Cambridge University Health Partners, the event will bring together influential voices from across the UK’s thriving life sciences ecosystem,with special keynote speeches from David Prior, Deputy Chairman UK and Global Senior Advisor at Lazard, and invited speakers from across government, industry and investment.

The company pitches will be curated across three stages of growth: Pre-Seed, Seed and Series A/B+. Investors will hear directly from founders, discover emerging companies and gain early insight into some of the most promising science and innovation coming out of the Cambridge and London ecosystems.

The Reverse VC sessions will turn the spotlight onto life sciences investors from venture capital, private equity, family offices and sovereign wealth funds. They will share their investment focus, current priorities and what they look for in emerging companies, creating a lively exchange of perspectives between investors, founders and ecosystem leaders.

The Showcase will conclude with an extended informal networking session, giving investors, presenting companies and ecosystem leaders plenty of time to connect directly, continue conversations sparked throughout the programme and build new relationships in a relaxed setting.
