Join 111 Minna Gallery for ArtSpan’s SF Open Studios, featuring the work of two artists, Pamela Jue and Guillermo Navarrete Davis, during Weekend 3 of the 2026 SF Open Studios season.

SF Open Studios offers art lovers an opportunity to discover San Francisco artists, visit creative spaces, meet artists and experience their work in person. ArtSpan’s 2026 Weekend 3 takes place October 10–11 and includes participating artists and venues throughout Dogpatch, East Cut, Mission Bay, Potrero Hill, SOMA and South Beach.
At 111 Minna Gallery, visitors can experience two distinct artistic perspectives and approaches to contemporary art.

Pamela Jue

Pamela Jue is a Berkeley-based artist whose work explores the subtle layers of the mind and body. Drawing from her meditation practice, she uses ink to express the arising and passing of thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations within everyday experience.

Her abstract drawings explore themes of impermanence, non-attachment, and acceptance, documenting a lived process of surrender and allowing things to be.
Jue’s relationship with art began in childhood and continued through New York University’s Studio Art program, where she experimented with painting, photography, and digital art. She later built a career in user experience design while continuing to develop her artistic practice and exhibit throughout the Bay Area, including participation in the de Young Open in 2020.

Guillermo Navarrete Davis

Guillermo Navarrete Davis is an Indigenous Latino, self-taught painter from Santiago de Chile. Drawing inspiration from artists including Dalí, Klimt, Nerdrum, and the Great Impressionists, Guillermo’s oil paintings reflect a continuous pursuit of beauty, growth, and technical mastery.

Working primarily in oil and specializing in portraiture, Navarrete Davis uses a refined technique of layering wet oils on canvas to create rich textures, hues, depth, and vibrancy. His work focuses particularly on the often-overlooked stories of marginalized people, with the realism and emotional sincerity of his subjects’ faces serving as a central source of inspiration.
His recent recognition includes Juror’s Choice, Spotlight Artist, and Featured Emerging Artist distinctions at East Bay Open Studios, the SF Open Studios Equity Grant 2026, Best of Show at the Museum of Northern California, and first-place awards at both Epperson Gallery’s From the Heart exhibition and the West Portal Summer Open Juried Show.

Stop by 111 Minna during SF Open Studios Weekend 3 to discover the work of two artists whose practices offer very different approaches to the human experience—from Pamela Jue’s introspective, abstract exploration of meditation and impermanence to Guillermo Navarrete Davis’s richly detailed oil portraits centered on identity, humanity, and overlooked stories.
