Mike Davis is a self-taught Modern Surrealist Painter based in San Francisco, California. Since 1997, he has drawn inspiration from a variety of sources, including his mother’s craftsmanship, ancient art, surrealism, and the Northern Renaissance masters. Davis creates intricate surrealist pieces that explore themes of mortality, folly, and hubris, blending symbolism with whimsical compositions.
His work can be found in the permanent collection of the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, as well as in numerous publications such as Juxtapoz, Hi-Fructose Magazine, HEY! Magazine, Art Ltd., and books like “Pop Surrealism: The Rise of Underground Art” and “Tatt Book: Visionaries of Tattoo.” His art also resides in prestigious private collections worldwide. Apart from painting, Mike Davis is a talented musician, woodworker, and the owner of the renowned Everlasting Tattoo studio.
