For nearly 50 years, ArtSpan—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit—has kept artists firmly rooted in the ethos of the city through artful events directly connecting the public with local artists; by providing educational, career-strengthening workshops for creative professionals; and through the production of paid public art opportunities, exhibitions, and more. ArtSpan’s eagerly anticipated annual Juried Benefit Art Auction generates the vital funds needed to sustain the organization and to continue their artist-supporting work.
From the annual SF Open Studios event, original murals covering over 10,000 square feet of the Salesforce Transit Center, to the creation of below-market-rent artist studios, and numerous exhibitions throughout our city, ArtSpan ensures that San Francisco residents find art at every turn and sustains the local arts ecosystem year-round. ArtSpan’s future home—the Onondaga Community Art Center—is currently under construction to provide space for local creatives and foster direct connections with residents. With your support, ArtSpan can continue bolstering and advancing San Francisco’s arts scene through a variety of public programs.
