‘THE HOWELLMAN COMES HERE’ will feature a full new body of work by artist, Jay Howell, most known for his creative design on ‘Bob’s Burgers’

JAY HOWELL IS BACK!!!!!

Jay will be doing a full two gallery exhibition at 111 Minna Gallery in both our Zappa and 2nd Street Galleries!!!!! Former curator of 111 Minna Gallery, creator of original character designs for Fox’s Bob’s Burgers and co-creator of Nickelodeon’s Sanjay and Craig will be showcasing his recent body of work; much of it depictioning his relationship with his beloved ‘Street Dog’.

Jay Howell’s work is a blending punk, surf, and skate culture into his unique line art for zines, murals, and commercial work, with recent projects involving large-scale installations and tattooing.

In addition to his ambitious solo exhibition which opens Friday, January 23rd 2026 at 5pm, Jay will be doing a live drawing session for his fans starting at 2pm which will include fresh coffee served in the gallery in limited edition Jay Howell coffee cups!!!!

111 Minna Gallery is simply the best art gallery located in the heart of San Francisco! Just blocks away from YBCA, SFMOMA and The Moscone Center! For all you drivers out there paid parking is available just a block away!

I work in the area, and like to stop by after work. Have a look at the current show, check out an event, and have a cheeky lil drink after work. Be sure to check out the calendar for events they host every month, I'm a fan of the sketch nights. I love the art but am even more fond of the staff. Ralph and Sean are really wonderful, funny and my faves to visit.
